Thompson Tire & Service Center, Inc., located in Oak Ridge, TN, has been in business since 2001.

As independent tire dealers we carry many brands, such as Michelin, BFGoodrich, Kumho, Cooper and many more brands. We continue to increase our inventory in all brands and sizes and acquire new state-of-the-art equipment. Recently we have added a brand new state of the art computerized Hunter alignment machine.

We have a computerized balancer/vibration control system featuring a Road Force Measurement Analyzer for passenger car and light truck tire/wheel assemblies. While tires are mounted on the unit it simulates a "road test" with a unique "load roller" which applies up to 1,400 pounds of force against the rotating assembly and automatically recommends corrections when needed.

This equipment can locate and eliminate virtually every cause of wheel vibration relating to the tire and rim. It can also solve alignment-related tire pull problems that wheel aligners cannot fix.

In addition to tire sales and service we offer complete brake service, major and minor tune-ups and various other mechanical repairs.
 

We offer two comfortable waiting areas for our customers, both with satellite TV. One area is specifically equipped to keep your children occupied while you wait.
